Golden Paws is a fully insured establishment and your pet’s safety is number one. I believe that your dog should feel at ease in the groom room, constantly giving them reassurance, plenty of rest breaks and just taking a little bit more time to make their experience calming, happy and relaxing.
WHAT WE OFFER
Breed standard full grooms; – Lucy can advise on all breeds on which is the best suited style for your dog if needs be.
Basic trimming; – pet trimming is the most common form of grooming, Lucy can guide you on getting the perfect look for your dog, for example, a teddy bear cut, a donut muzzle etc.
Bath, blow dry and brush; – this is the perfect way to maintain your dog’s glossy coat in-between a full groom, we offer this at a smaller rate and a quick in and out time as we believe this is most important.

Golden Paws Grooming Salon
The Salon is located in Newton Aycliffe, on the outskirts of its Industrial Park. We are centrally located with both Bishop Auckland and Darlington being a 15 minute drive away.
There are parking bays outside the salon allowing for ease of parking, also allowing easy drop off and collections

I have used 2 grooming services since we’ve had Casey and all they do is shave her to the point she is bald (one even shaved her nipple off). I’m so thrilled with Casey’s cut, she actually has a style, her fur is so soft and she didn’t want to leave!! Very professional service, lovely location and not hard to get too. Very clean salon and so impressed that Casey came home with a health check too. Very happy! Totally recommend and will be using Lucy’s services again – Thanks Lucy.

I cannot praise them enough, absolutely excellent from start to finish! My little Shiatzu was so nervous so they came to meet her first before she was groomed and then offered a pick up and drop off service which was ideal for me. Lucy has done an amazing job grooming my gang of Jackadoodles & my poodle puppy’s introduction to the grooming parlour. All dropped off looking like stig of the dump to be collected transformed into well groomed, gorgeous smelling pampered pouches that enjoyed the experience so much they were snoozing when I turned Up to collect them. My Toy Poodle pup had the best first experience he could have had that has now set him up for further grooming appointments. They are all looking forward to seeing you again Lucy
