I welcome all breeds and cross-breeds and will always assess their coat, lifestyle, behaviour and age before starting any grooming or clipping. Your dog’s safety and comfort is of utmost importance, which is why I only use the most up to date grooming technology and dog clippers.
Breed standard full grooms: Lucy can advise on all breeds on which is the best suited style for your dog if needs be.
Basic trimming: Pet trimming is the most common form of grooming, Lucy can guide you on getting the perfect look for your dog, for example, a teddy bear cut, a doughnut muzzle etc.
Bath, blow dry and brush: This is the perfect way to maintain your dog’s glossy coat in-between a full groom, we offer this at a smaller rate and a quick in and out time as we believe this is most important.
Nail clipping, ear cleaning: Keeping your dog’s nails neatly trimmed and ears nice and clean will reduce the chances of infections and pain, we offer these services free of charge when booked for a full groom at Golden Paws.
Teeth cleaning: This is available upon request. Teeth cleaning provides fresh breath and with regular treatment can help with teeth strengthening and can help eliminate stains.
Blueberry facial: This is available upon request. The application of the facial with regular treatments can help to eliminate eye staining and leaves a fluffier finish to shampoo.
Hand stripping: There are certain breeds that are specially hand stripped to maintain their wire coat, Lucy can advise you on the best solution.
Face trims: We recommend this service in between full grooms to keep your dog looking fresh and neat all the time.
Puppy packages: This is available for puppies under the age of 12 months who have never been to the groomers before. This service is a slow introduction to the grooming process for your puppy, allowing them to explore and become comfortable with the surroundings in the process. If you contact the salon with any questions, Lucy will be able to guide you on the best possible process for a happy puppy.
